Hand them that beat, one slow paragraph they can drift out of, and they lean back and start talking themselves out of it.
Keep your punches close, each sentence pulling them into the next.
Do it right and the prospect only surfaces at the end, looking up to find they're already at the close, with buying your product as the only possible next step.
