Midjourney Enters AI Video Race
Just one week after being sued by Disney and Universal, Midjourney has launched its first AI video tool. The new model, called V1, turns any image into a five-second video clip and is available on Discord.

It puts Midjourney in direct competition with tools like OpenAI's Sora and Google's Veo 3.But the company has bigger plans. CEO David Holz says the ultimate goal is to create "real-time open-world simulations." For now, users can try V1, but it costs 8 times more than generating an image, and videos can be extended up to 21 seconds.

The advertising world is undergoing a "huge transformation" thanks to AI, and industry leaders are optimistic. Meta's New AI Ads Can Chat with Customers and Build Videos Instantly
Meta is rolling out powerful new AI ad tools to make marketing easier. Now, you can turn your product images into animated video ads automatically. For the first time, you can also add your own brand logos and colors directly into AI-generated images for consistent branding.

The biggest change might be "Business AIs"—chatbots that live inside your ads. They let customers ask questions and get instant answers about your products. Meta is also testing AI-powered virtual try-ons for clothing, making ads more interactive and helpful than ever before.
Nearly All Businesses Will Use AI for Customer Service in 2025
A new report shows 97% of businesses plan to use AI in their customer communications this year. Although, it reveals a big generational gap in trust. For example, 71% of Gen Z are happy to use an AI chatbot, but that number drops to just 42% for all age groups combined.
Businesses are investing heavily in AI voice assistants and chatbots to deliver faster, more personal support. They're also betting on new channels like RCS, which 59% of leaders call a "game-changer" for mobile messaging.
Mailchimp's New AI Tools Turn Social Media Ads into Sales
Mailchimp is launching a new suite of tools designed to connect advertising directly to sales. New integrations with Meta, TikTok, and Google let businesses automatically capture leads from their ad campaigns. This allows them to instantly nurture those leads with personalized marketing.
The update also includes over 100 new pop-up templates to grow customer lists and a new "Metrics Visualizer" to better understand campaign data. Soon, Mailchimp will add custom audience tools for ad retargeting and AI agents inside QuickBooks to help automate business tasks.
Reddit's New AI Puts Real Customer Voices Directly Into Your Ads
Reddit is turning its huge collection of human conversations into a marketing tool. A new feature uses AI to find positive user comments and places them right under a brand's ad. This gives advertisers instant social proof. In early tests, it also boosted click-through rates by 19%.

The technology is part of a new platform called Reddit Community Intelligenceâ„¢. This platform also has a tool that helps brands like Hershey's and Comcast analyze conversations, find new customers, and track what people are saying about them.

YouTube's 200-Billion-View Juggernaut, Shorts, is Getting a Major AI Upgrade
YouTube Shorts, which already gets a staggering 200 billion views per day, is about to get a huge AI boost. Later this summer, YouTube will add Google's most advanced video generator, Veo 3, directly into the Shorts creation tools. This will allow anyone to create videos and sound from just a text prompt.

YouTube CEO Neal Mohan says the goal is to "push the limits of human creativity." He also emphasized the power of creators, calling them "the startups of Hollywood" who are reimagining the entertainment industry.
Zoho's New AI Hubs Unlock the 80% of Your Data You're Not Using
Most companies have a goldmine of information hidden in emails, documents, and chat logs. In fact, 80% of business data is unstructured. Zoho's new Zia Hubs is designed to fix this. The tool lets you create focused "hubs" inside Zoho WorkDrive for specific projects.
Zoho's AI, Zia, can then analyze everything in the hub to find valuable insights. This is the first step in Zoho's plan to create intelligent AI agents that can act across all its apps. Zia Hubs is available now on request, with a full release planned for Q3 FY2025.
