A Field Guide to Fable: Finding Your Unknowns
Thariq Shihipar, a Member of Technical Staff at Anthropic, wrote a field guide for Fable 5. He found it's the first model good enough that the ceiling on your output is how clearly you surface what you don't know, what he calls "unknowns."

đź’ˇ Key Insights:
- Ask Fable 5 for a "blind spot pass" before starting work you've never done...tell it plainly what you don't understand, and it maps the traps and the questions you didn't know to ask. It's how Thariq color-graded Fable's launch video himself, knowing nothing about grading.
- Have Fable 5 build rough mockups you can react to before it touches the real thing...ask for a few wildly different versions filled with fake data, so you catch a direction you don't like while it's still a quick mockup and cheap to change.
- When you can't put what you want into words, show Fable 5 an example...point it at a landing page or design you admire, and it reads how that's actually built beneath the picture, then gives your version that same underlying structure.

6 in 10 Americans Now Read AI's Search Answer Before They Reach Your Site
Pew Research Center surveyed U.S. adults this past February 2026 and found chatbot use has jumped from a third of adults in 2024 to about half today, with a quarter using them daily.
đź’ˇ Key Insights:
- Your customers read AI's answer before they click...six in ten adults now read the AI summary at the top of search results, so getting your brand cited inside those answers reaches more people than ranking alone.
- The buyers you want already live inside these tools...ChatGPT reached 44% of adults this year, up from 34%, and under-50s use it at twice the rate of older adults, so they're now researching through AI before they open Google.
- People who use chatbots report clear gains...three in ten say the tools help their productivity, while only 5% say they hurt. Still, seven in ten expect AI to make their data less secure, so leaning too hard on "AI-powered" could spark as much distrust as excitement if not executed correctly.

Prompt of the Week

This Week's Feature: Microcopy Doubt Injector Detector
Right before someone hits "buy," a small phrase in your copy can plant enough doubt to make them close the tab. Words like "processing fee," "subject to approval," or "please allow up to" don't feel dangerous when you write them. They inject hesitation, hidden-cost suspicion, and rejection fear just as your visitor is about to convert.
This prompt hunts them down across your copy, from payment fields to consent checkboxes. Every flagged phrase comes back with the doubt it creates, a cleaner replacement, and a severity score to help you prioritize what to fix first.
FULL PROMPT:

## TASK
Scan the provided copy for microcopy that may unintentionally create hesitation, uncertainty, distrust, effort anxiety, hidden-cost suspicion, delay anxiety, rejection fear, privacy concern, or legalistic friction.
Look especially for doubt injectors such as:
“required,” “mandatory,” “processing fee,” “additional charges,” “service fee,” “non-refundable,” “final sale,” “pending,” “may take up to,” “please allow,” “subject to approval,” “verification required,” “manual review,” “terms apply,” “limited availability,” “we reserve the right,” “your request has been received,” “invalid,” “error,” “failed,” “try again,” “submit,” “continue,” “complete this form,” “enter your information,” “optional,” “we may contact you,” “not guaranteed,” and vague timing, approval, fee, refund, privacy, or eligibility language.
Prioritize microcopy that appears near payment, shipping, account creation, error states, CTA buttons, trust badges, refund language, consent checkboxes, and final confirmation steps. When several alternatives fit, choose the clearest option.
## OUTPUT FORMAT
Return a table with:
1. Original phrase
2. Doubt created
3. Conversion risk
4. Better replacement
5. Issue strength: Low / Medium / High
6. Placement note

## Top 3 Risk Phrases
List the phrases most likely to increase abandonment.
## Cleaner Replacement Copy
Rewrite only the affected lines or sections.
## Final Self-Check
Confirm the replacements preserve meaning, required disclosures, brand voice, and operational accuracy.
## RULES
-Do not invent guarantees, timelines, approvals, fees, policies, discounts, or legal claims.
-Do not remove necessary disclosures. If a term is legally required, make it clearer and more reassuring instead of deleting it.
-Prefer specific, confidence-building language over vague optimism.
-Keep recommendations practical, concise, and conversion-focused.

Square just plugged its whole seller base into the AI chats where people decide what to buy. Its new ChatGPT app and Claude plugin let customers discover businesses, browse them, and order without leaving the conversation.

Eligible sellers are auto-enrolled with no code, setup, or fees. US restaurants go live first, with shops and services next. And unlike delivery apps chewing through margins, Square charges zero marketplace commission on these orders.
